Researchers discovered land isopods forming massive, synchronized circular formations. These creatures, known as woodlice, were drawn into glowing traps by streetlights. The isopods marched in tight circles until exhaustion or predation stopped them. This behavior, observed in Israel's Golan Heights, poses risks to the small animals. Artificial light at night can inadvertently alter natural survival strategies.
