Kerala Cabinet forms subcommittee to study PM SHRI implementation; CM says ‘forced to’ continue with scheme

Satheesan says the previous LDF government had ‘already entered into an agreement’ and ‘received money’ from Centre. Former Education Minister V. Sivankutty says the previous LDF govt. had signed the PM SHRI MoU after the Centre denied the State its rightful share of Samagra Shiksha funds. Sivankutty adds that the LDF govt. did not take any steps to implement the scheme
